DAY 90 OF MY JUICE FAST

 

 

It only seems like yesterday I was on day 80 but today is day 90 of my juice fast/no solids.  For those of you who are new to reading this I am currently on a fast where I primarily drink fresh pressed juices and I am without solid foods.  Along with my juices I have green tea, smoothies, lots of water and soups.

Last time I posted in regards to my juice fast I was on DAY 80 and I wanted you to guess what day I will end my fast.   I’ve had quite a few guesses so far and they’ve come close but no one has hit the exact day.  It could be day as an example DAY 75 or DAY 76 or you can be the actual date like October 1 or October 2, those are all valid.  The only way you can submit your guesses is by leaving a comment on this post here at ChristiansWeightSuccess.net. If you get the correct day/date then you will get to choose The first solid meal I will eat.  Here is your clue.  Disney, black and white spots.  I know it’s kind of cryptic but I believe if you think about it you can get the answer. GOOD LUCK!

How am I feeling?  I’m feeling great.  I am not fatigued I am not weak or have lack of energy.  If anything I have more energy then there are hours in the day.  I’m rarely hungry.  My system in which I follow, allows me to be full for majority of the day.  I do not believe in being hungry lol.    I started running again last week.  I got in at least three runs 2 miles each.  I can proudly say I got my 1 gallon of water in every day last week too.

I got great advice from a running coach who coached high school cross country running and he said, “You don’t have to go fast just find a steady pace and just run.”  I’m glad he told me that because I’m constantly trying to beat my time or get back to where was about a year ago.  He also said, “You can chase your record times and if you feel like it, speed up but don’t try to race yourself.  Lose your ego and just enjoy the run.”  I like that saying right there.

What’s been helping me is riding the stationary bike 10 to 20 minutes before running and that really loosens up my legs and get the blood flowing.  I’m still working out at least 5 to 6 days a week at least 2 1/2 hours per session.

Why am I doing this? I am doing this for myself nobody else.  There are challenges in life that you must face and some that you may set for yourself.  This is something that I set for myself and I’m going to see it until the finish line.

I juiced last night.  I can say is this whole routine of juicing and preparing for the next few days is getting tiresome.  I also made some almond milk.  I’ve been getting back in the habit of making it again.    I have my days where I just procrastinate and lay on my couch and scroll through social media on my phone avoiding the inevitable task of juicing.  After about 25 minutes I snap out of it and get to work in the kitchen.  Here are my recipes from last night.

RECIPE #1

  • GALA APPLES- 2 bags
  • CELERY STALKS- 2
  • SWEET POTATOES- 3

 

 

RECIPE #2

  • PINEAPPLES SKIN OFF)- 2
  • GREEN PEARS- 6
  • BROCCOLI HEADS- 2
  • ASPARAGUS- 1 CONTAINER

Whenever I’m in a pinch and strapped for time these cold pressed juices will do.  They taste great!


This isn’t the only flavor I drink.  It’s just one I chose to a take a picture of ?.
