#ThursdayThoughts – RAINY DAYS

RAINY DAYS
It’s been a while since I’ve written anything for #ThursdayThoughts. It’s been about one month to be exact. I decided to take a month off of writing anything too in depth. There’s a lot going on with me (all for the good) and I just have to take time for myself. I’ve still been on you alls radar in the absence of me writing posts. I at least tried to provide you with videos at least once a week. Sometimes even two. While you’re here I’ll let you in on my rainy day.
At this very moment, it’s storming outside. The reason why I’m making this known is because I call myself meal prepping today. I have some chicken on my smoker and it just started pouring down. The weather man didn’t forecast for this storm. The dome lid is on the smoker, so in theory, it should be fine. Out of all days to do this, my day off, the weather choses to act crazy. Could it be a possibility HAARP is causing this??? LOL. You should google/youtube HAARP if you have no clue what that is. Please get back to me when you do so we can exchange thoughts.
Readjusting to eating solids after being absent from them for 103 days, is always a challenge. I start off good like I’m not gonna eat this, or I’m not gonna eat that. In the words of Mike Tyson “Everyone has a plan until they get hit.” When the hunger gremlin hits me, then it’s hard to get him under control. This is why I call myself prepping today the same way I do my juices. I hope this storm passes. It’s just a live testament, when you’re trying to do good, evil is present.
My timer just went off for me to pull the meat off the smoker, yet its like Hurricane Matthew outside. This is crazy. I didn’t intend for this post to be all about my food on the smoker, but what else can I think about? It’s not going to burn because it has a water bowl right above the coals, so it should stay moist. Good gracious, how long is this stuff suppose to last??? Make it so bad, I was filming this process to bring you guys more into how I cook. This should be some interesting footage.

Today I got up early and worked out. It’s my day off of work and I love going early. Speaking of work, I had all of last week off. It was a much needed break. Please, always take time for yourself. Don’t let any job take your mind. Always take time to regroup. My workout consisted of 20 mins on the elliptical when I first got there. After that I proceeded to work on legs and biceps. It’s leg day!! After I finished weights, I did another round of cardio which was only a 10 min cool down on the stationary bike.

After my workout I noticed it started raining. That thru me completely off because I wanted to start cooking this chicken on the smoker. I went to smoothie king and got my favorite smoothie. For those who’ve been following me, do you know what it is?? I knew I still had to juice and prep for my watermelon fruit smoothie so I knew that would hold me over until the rain subsided.
I wanted to film everything today because I need to start shooting more videos. So I did film the juice recipe I juiced. That will be the video of the week that I’ll post on Monday. I checked in with my clients today. Yes, I do have clients that I help be successful at losing weight, like I did (CHRISTIANS WEIGHT SUCCESS STARTER PROGRAM , plug!). Everyone is doing great. I’m very proud the fact that people look for me for help and I’m just a catalyst in this whole weight loss world. I love to see them doing good.
I made a watermelon fruit smoothie and a salad with pinto beans and some beef heart strips I had in my freezer since about May that I thawed last night. I put some cherry tomatoes on it and used some balsamic vinaigrette. As crazy of a combo as that sounds, it was good! The pinto beans and the vinaigrette really worked.
Now, I’m writing this post. Majority of the times I write my posts a day ahead. This is so I can concentrate on what I’m talking about and plan ahead. The rain has finally calmed down so I gotta go pull this chicken, (pause) off this smoker. I didn’t intend for this post to talk about my rainy meal prep day, but it sure provided some context to my day.
