Yes, you read it right, and you do! Post holiday gluttony has me looking in the mirror like, “What did I do?” You can be at this point in your life no matter what time of year. No matter the case time, this case is universal.

You’ve lost weight before, so you know in your heart you can do it again when you get ready. The time is now. You see yourself in the mirror, getting ready for your day, and you don’t like what you see.





No matter what area it is, you just know it’s time for a change. Your knowledge of what you’ve done before to lose weight, that mindset is needed now! This is how you start.

DO WHAT WORKS FOR YOU
Your foundation is important to go off of. Go back to the basics of what you know has worked for you. Muscle memory can be beneficial when it comes to this.

NUTRITION
What diet are you going to choose this time around? How did the last diet work? Did it work better than what plan you followed before? If not, for your mental sake, go back to what you did before.





EXERCISE
Here’s the fun part! Your workout. With so many workout routines you have in your head, how are you going to put them together to get your best results? Again, muscle memory is beneficial in this situation. Where you running before? How many reps where you doing? How much time did you have to workout?

Granted, a lot may have changed since then, but this is where you have lock in mentally. Don’t spend too much time chasing ghosts of fitness past. You are on to something new and better.

You can be your best critic. Who knows you, better than you? Be sure to have fun when you are on your new journey. Reward yourself when the time is right. Celebrate your achievements no matter if they’re scale or non scale victories. Positive mental reinforcements will get you to where you need to be.  Remember to speak daily positive affirmations over your life.
