When you’re not hard on yourself in your fitness journey, question how you arrived to this point. I’ll share with you 3 tips on how to get back in the game.
You’ve gone In the words of Kobe…”SOFT!” At one point you were the pillar for fitness in your world. You did whatever it took to push yourself to get to that point. Slowly over time that fire dwindled. That umpf that you once had for this, just isn’t there like it use to.
#ListenHear TO MY PODCAST!
The responsibilities of life can be overwhelming. Somehow working out falls on the priority list.
Don’t get me wrong, you still work out. These days there’s something different. I know we can’t live in the past reminiscing on a time that once was. Who can’t help but to think of those times though?
How do you get yourself back into the game?
First, check your intake. So much of our mental is dictated by our nutrition. Personally, when my nutrition is off, my mental goes haywire. I don’t have the same get up as I once did. I become sluggish/ lethargic. Once I get my nutrition in check, the mind and body will follow suit.
Second, look at yourself to see if you still want it. “It” = your fitness goals. Are the goals obtainable? Do they need to be adjusted for the current times? Life happens. We’re dealing with a global pandemic. As much as we push ourselves, there are factors in the wake of the pandemic that will affect our way of life of doing things. We will get past this, but the fact of the matter remains, this is what we are dealing with.
Third, don’t be afraid to communicate how you’re feeling. Don’t be afraid to ask for help. You may find support from others who are going through what you’re going through. You can find people in my facebook group SUCCESS FITNESS FAMILY (https://www.facebook.com/groups/410475912987244/?ref=share ) . You may just need a personal trainer that can help guide you to a better place in your fitness journey. You can inquire about my personal training services via ChristiansWeightSuccess@gmail.com
