WEIGHTS & 1,000 JUMP ROPES
Hey there! I hope you’re having a successful day. I just wanted to check in with you with and update on my Saturday afternoon/evening workout.
Today’s workout was mainly weights. Full body circuit workout.
Reverse Hack Squats 10(10)
Super set with
Smith machine flat bench press 10(10)
I surprised myself on the bench press. By the third set I was at 275 pounds doing 10 reps up to my last set. I dropped back down to 225. Hack Squats the highest I went was 315.
Midway through this workout my beats by Dre’s died on me. I have to get some batteries but I had my apple headset as backup. Always have a back up plan ??
Overhead tricep rope extensions 4(25)
Standing cable bicep curls 4(25)
Close grip cable pull downs 4(25)
Front cable raises 4(25)
Upright cable rows 4(25)
Once I completed my workout with weights I moved over to cardio. I planned to run tonight but I wasn’t feeling it. It’s Saturday and I’m usually lazy by the time Saturday comes. I decided to jump rope since I haven’t in a while.
10 sets of 100 which gave me 1,000. I don’t care for splitting them up like that. I want to get back to 4(250) but I have to dedicate myself to that. I get frustrated when my feet gets caught in the rope or vice versa. It kept happening between the 56-70 count. I try to get 100 without messing up but hey, stuff happens.
At this very moment I’m writing this post from the stationary bike.b Ima go for twenty minutes. I tend to write my post workout posts while I’m at the gym. It gives me a better feel of writing. Let me know how your day is. I’ll chat with you later.
