OFF TO AN EARLY START
Good morning!! I want you to have a successful day today! Have you spoken your positive affirmations over yourself before you got started on your day? It makes a big difference on the outcome of your day. I’m off to an early start this morning. I have a lot I want to get done today. Even though it’s my day off from work, there’s always work to get done.
I tussled with myself whether to write this before my quick morning workout from home or after. I usually do a quick workout in my room before I go to the gym on days like this. Just enough to stretch my body out and get loose. Don’t think I’m crazy because I workout before I workout lol. You know how in the morning you’re stiff and this is a way to work out all the kinks.
I’m going to start my morning off with 4(25) on these ab carvs. I missed yesterdays due to that long nap. I will have to do them again later tonight to stay on track. Last week I did 5 days which has been the most consistent I’ve been with them in months. I just want to stay focused with these. Then I’ll loosen up more with a resistant band workout.
I’ll finish off with some perfect push ups.
This quick workout should take about 20 mins tops.
I plan to shoot a video today that my friend Melo has been on me about for awhile. It’s my Butternut Squash soup. I’ve had this butternut squash on my counter for a week or so and every time I walk by it I can hear him saying YO BRO, WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO POST THAT VIDEO? I’ll stop being a slacker and get that done today. I’m thinking I may go live on periscope as I’m shooting it. That’s my new thing of late. I’m starting to enjoy going live. I just have to get myself together before I do it. I’m thinking I’m going to go live soon as I finish this post and show you guys my morning workout as well. Wouldn’t that be fun?? lol You just have to stay tuned.
When I do get to the gym my workout will be 60 mins of cardio followed by a Tricep & Bicep superset weighted workout. The Flash came on last night so I can watch that on my app while on the elliptical and stairclimber. I’m thinking of incorporating back and shoulders today because I believe I’m off schedule. As I stated in last nights post I usually do biceps and legs but I just did legs. Back and shoulders are usually on Wednesdays and Saturdays. I gotta figure out how to get all this in. I’ve been doing double work on my triceps because I’m working on increasing my bench press. It’s been a slow process but it’s working.
I also believe I have to juice tonight as well as bag up some bananas to go in the freezer. Gotta shave too. I’ve been looking scruffy lately. Gotta check in with clients as well! Geez my list is growing!!! I better get on it. I’ll chat with you all later!
