Balancing the Bag, the Hustle, and My Health

Balancing a busy hustle and my health requires real adult choices. Here is how to make your fitness goals work when life gets crowded.

You know, I was having a gym talk with a fellow gym bro as I was getting ready.

The gist of the conversation I was having was about making adult choices while losing weight.


I’m getting to a point to where I have to really settle down and make my life work at this time in this version of my health and fitness journey, as compared to years ago when I was initially on it.

Just having those thoughts of all positive thoughts about where my mind was during that time when I was losing weight. It was more so the amount of time that I had to concentrate on losing weight.

At the time, I was in a different situation, a different job. I really didn’t need—I didn’t even have any podcasts up or websites or nothing, it was just me concentrating on me, so I had all the time in the world.


Now, I’m a personal trainer, so I have to keep up with clients. I still have to make sure my money is straight from the standpoint of what I don’t make from personal training, just chasing the bag, you know what I mean?

I know you can relate because you’re still in pursuit of that, you know, creating content, creating this podcast, taking time to edit it, taking time to promote it, and checking numbers, social media, and everything like that.
